33. He should know we're way past that

A year ago, this race was cast as Jeb! vs. Rand with Cruz, Christie, and Rubio as also-rans. No one figured it was going to be Cruz and Trump. The "sanity" wing of the GOP is now scrambling to support Rubio as their best hope.

The best case scenario now for Jeb is veep. I don't even think that is going to happen.

If they go with Trump, I think his Veep is Susanna Martinez

If they go with Cruz, it's anyone's guess -- maybe Jeb! to try to solidify Florida, but I think not. Maybe Joni Ernst. Maybe Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts to try to lure more PAC money his way. Maybe Scott Walker or John Kasich to pick off a swing state.

If they go with Rubio, Jeb! would be a good fit for Veep because they'll need someone with Gravitas. But my understanding is they dislike one another. If she'd do it, Condi Rice would probably be the way for him to go.
