When I was a kid in NY in the 60's, the oft heard refrain from harried parents was 'straighten out Junior or we'll send ya upstate to military school"...

I am guessing he did not straighten out and away he went.

This is a very true fact that is not mentioned.

Similar to the rich kids joining the National Guard to avoid Viet Nam, like Dumbya did...

Am I the only one who remembers this...
