jerk ought to disqualify him for public service, so the notion that he might be on the Republican ticket as veep is entirely possible, because for some long while now the Republicans have favored dirtbags, thieves, war mongers, dolts, and dipshits.

Note: 'Dipshits' was not a formal category included in the list prior to the presidency of George W. Bush.

Christie might fall under the 'Dirtbag' column for the pressure he brought to bear on people to endorse him and the shitwork his administration visited upon people who didn't play ball.
