They aren't calming him. They are saying contradictory things (laying aside how crazy they, too, sound at times).

Yes, every now and then they tell him he will be a bigger hero if he comes out peacefully, but then when he talks about Jesus dying for his beliefs, they agree how necessary that was.

See...just now..."It's in God's hands" - but the idiot thinks in terms of dying for God and country.

Yes, I know they can't really promise anything since the FBI is going to take over as soon as he gets out. (if he gets out alive)

See..there again...set an example for the rest of us...Christ did...Christ did it by dying.

Feeding his sickness. Not calming him at all.

I know the people are right-wingers too. They shouldn't be allowed to speak with him. Especially since they aren't calming things at all.
