I loathe him, and her, and everything they stand for, but there is a refreshing honesty here. They're admitting that they intend to follow biblical law no matter what the constitution says.

Now, that's likely the kiss of death in the GE, and i know it's done to rev up the bible belters, but at least it's not a lie.
