I had a central american drug lord/slum owner with his armed bodyguard in my office one time, and they were less offensive than Jimmy John. No joke. His labor practices suck, he abuses his employees, and he kills endangered species for fun. ALL of that public image fits with the personae he asserts in person.

I have avoided spending any of my money with his company for a few years now. YMMV, but if I am hungry I'll keep on looking for a different place to eat.
