3. And yet my dear Democrats, I still await a cycle in which none of our own damn candidates have

ugly past history of bigoted words against LGBT and opposition to our rights. The GOP is oh so terrible and the DNC has more in common with it than it should. It is simply disingenuous to spend years running candidates who smugly preach against minority groups, hold raging religious rallies against them, sponsor and vote for laws against their rights and then say 'But those others, they are such bigots!'.

All the Democrats who are anti gay claim to be Christians and The Christ said to always, always examine and deal with your own flaws prior to going on a tirade against the flaws of others. Yes, the Republicans are bigoted and racist. And yes the Democrats have very often been hugely bigoted themselves and they have as yet not stopped putting up candidates with that history of claiming God is against some of us.
