Even prior to the primaries, separating the chaff from the wheat was a frustrating exercise. And now, with app. half the posts in GD and GDP (esp.) being little more than bumper-stickers replying to each other, it's become even more prohibitive to find a substantive or analytical post or a thread.

However, having gone through (now) four primary seasons on DU, I tell myself that even though passions run high and dogmas are absolute, this too shall pass. Whether that be April, May or June when a lock is announced, we'll simply have to stumble through the morass of fallacies, distempers, empty rhetorical devices, and Progressive Purity Pogroms.
