Can't tell you how many times I've read/heard the "I saw someone buy steak with food stamps...I can't afford steak!" Yes you fucking can. If someone getting food stamps spends $200 (or whatever they get each month) on caviar, so what?? They're choosing to buy (a) few expensive things instead of a lot of cheap crap. You can do the same thing with your shopping dollars. You can buy a small amount of expensive shit or a lot of cheap shit.

Who cares what people buy?

Wait, I guess I do. Now that I think about tit, I'm going to have to go check out the cupboards and fridges of all the farm subsidy receivers around Iowa.
