(9,785 posts)18. I always wondered if Pelosi not suppoorting impeachment of GWB and Cheney
was because she was Speaker of the House and thus third in line.
Trump will need to take specific action(s) to be impeached.
What I do expect should Trump be elected POTUS is a strong (in powers) Cabinet with more delegation from Trump than any earlier POTUS.
I also would expect a strong in power and activity VPOTUS, even more so than Cheney.
An effort would be made to concentrate power in the Executive, GWB/Cheney's Unitary Executive.
Trump wants to be king not POTUS.
I posted earlier that I would not be surprised if Ryan ended up the "strong" VPOTUS candidate at the GOP convention.
That is one way the GOP can restrain Trump.
