but the Duke thing cuts out the angry; but, not racist crowd ... the "I really didn't mean any of the stuff about deporting the 11 million and building a wall, it was just a negotiating point" cuts out the xenophobe crowd ... and the, Scamming of Joe Everyman Trial cuts out those that trust him to "do the right thing" crowd.

The difference is up to this point, no media source has focused on anything and none of his rivals have hammered what is out there ... now, the media is focusing, Rubio is hammering it ... plus, the gop establishment is running ads. Trump will only make it to the G/E as a 3rd Party candidate ... and I'm good with that.
