4. I have been working in

the service/tourist industry for quite some time and I have noticed, particularly last year, the increase in clients showing little or no respect, absolute disdain and rudeness to those who are there to serve in some capacity. I am not exactly sure where all that comes from, certainly there are a lot of very nice people but I have seen a marked increase in the "touron from hell" this past year like no other.

It's getting to be harder work for little or no increase each year and it is also manufactured to bring in J-1 workers to fill the void created. J-1s don't have to be paid above minimum wage and there is a tax incentive for the employers. Around here, in the summer, you don't normally find waitresses and sandwich makers who speak English as their first language.
