They hadn't done anything yet. Someone might think you look like an undesirable and throw you out based on your appearance.

Trump has trotted out black and muslim and latino supporters but they are rarely if ever in the audience at his rallies. Having a group of 30 is harder to violently beat up than if there was 1 or 2.
