The Republicans totally deserve Trump. They thought they could keep on pussyfooting with fascism, thought they could keep on speaking in code words while keeping up a thin veneer of respectability, thought they could keep on flirting with the unhinged fringe of their base while maintaining a facade of plausible deniability.

Trump is their Id, and their Id has been released and made starkly visible. Own it, you assholes!
