are desperate to stop the process now -- sort of like the way the GOP wanted to stop the vote count in Florida in 2000. They know that Mrs. Clinton has no long game. She starts strong -- just like she did in 2007-2008, but can't keep it up. She's just picked all the low-hanging fruit, and her backers want to end it now.
Sorry, but this is a marathon, not a sprint. You have to run the whole 26 miles. She's already out of breath, and they know she'll stumble and fall pretty soon. The more people see and hear her, the less they like her.
