We've had some extraordinarily high winds in SW Pennsylvania - repeatedly blew covers off my outdoor furniture and into the neighbor's yard - that has never happened before. And driving across a local bridge, my car was - I don't even know the descriptive term to use - "shaking"? in the wind. Again, a first.

I'll be checking with my daughter in Oakland to make sure she's OK.
