38. This is the Republicans' new twist on Regan's "Southern Strategy."

They playing on the prejudices of far too many of the working class that believe that a major cause of our problems is the influx of dirty unkempt Black and Hispanic brats that have invaded and swamped our school system. Gingrich has coupled this with his condemnation of the poor as being shiftless parasites who only work ethic is engaging in criminal activity.

It totally ignores the basic fact the the working class screwed their selves when they drank the Republican CEO's Kool Aid that unions and tariffs were their enemy and the corporations would protect them with good jobs, health care and pensions. After the gullible workers abandon the unions and swallowed this line of crap hook, line and sinker, they had no one to turn to for protection of their jobs from being outsourced, their pension cut and heath insurance cancelled.

Face the facts; there wouldn't be any economic recovery simply because there isn't any industrial base to recover with. This will only happen when we are willing to protect our manufacturing with duties on goods that have been outsourced for manufacture. You can't expect this simple solution to happen when the congress is a solely owned arm of corporations that determine who is elected and write the legislation that the representatives don't even take the time to read since they are too busy attending gala parties sponsored by their owners.

Unfortunately, the working class Republicans are for a great part are so consumed with racial hatred that they are unable to even grasp that they are actively engaging in their own demise. It is difficult to any sympathy for Republicans who are espousing racial and class hatred when they find themselves a victim of their own ignorance and have allowed themselves to have been totally exploited by demigods like Gingirich.
