can't get an aisle seat, if the trip is longish I explain my problem to the person on the aisle and ask whether they want to switch seats with me. Usually they are very nice about switching. Most people would rather not be climbed past repeatedly, and I make a genuine effor NOT to crowd the person next to me, so being in the middle won't mean they get squished.
