10. I watched 1968 in TV. That was the convention.

Today was a rally and not nearly as awful as '68. But from what I see on CNN -- not a lovely event.

Trump needs to be peaceful and firm about future behavior. So far nothing.

That is all from this oldster! I do not remember the run-up to the 1968 convention.

I remember Robert Kennedy when Martin Luther King was murdered. He spoke in Detroit and ask the crowd to be calm. And there were no riots in Detroit but there were riots in other cities.

What Trump does now does matter. I suspect he does not remember Kennedy and Detroit. And not 1968!! He is not old enough. I do not know if he studied history.
