I prefer not seeing the Secret Service in action. [View all]

I'm not sure I've seen them in action more than the last two days since Reagan's assassination attempt. Seeing them break up a fight yesterday was disturbing. Seeing them have to jump to the defense of Trump today was equally disturbing.

Would the actual president have finished their speech after an incident like today's?

There are people encouraging the disruption of rally's. I think this is a very bad idea. Democrats and other left of center people have not faired well in these types of situations. Disrupting Trump events will encourage tit for tat disruption of Democratic events. This is not the best path.
