What most of those Trump supporters don't know
is the history of the Hitler regime.

It started, yes, with xenophobia and nationalism,
but it worked slowly and carefully to replace judges,
and thereby cleverly destroying any constitutional
rights. It used the loss of WWI to start a feeling of a
bitterness for a German country, which supposedly was
so much better than the Allies. Propaganda was extremely
well used (see Trump). It did to happen over night, but
seemed to restore some order at first, btw heavily
supported by banks and industry.

The idea of of "restoring order" and making "Germany
great again" is exactly, what appeals to the Trump
people.

And don't just say: It cannot happen here.
