My brother was an alcoholic and that destroyed his life for a while. He had to live with the effects even after he became sober, that doesn't sound like the right term. But, anyway he is going on 10 years now without a drink. I still don't think it's wrong to point out if someone is drunk though. If it wasn't for people telling my brother he had to get help he wouldn't have and they didn't do it in one of those nice interventions either.
