3. Trumpies think the other GOP candidates are weak

Far-right people, racists and other "angry" types with violence issues have ALWAYS supported the GOP.

I've been observing the far right for a long time. And that is what these people are - far right, whether or not they belong to a far right group. They want group validation without the stigma of being an actual Klan member.

These people were around in the sixties to beat up "hippies" and protesters. They supported Ronald Reagan in the eighties. They were boorish "USA, USA" assholes who threatened protesters at Bush rallies.

It's just that now they have their own candidate who openly validates their value that violence is an acceptable way to handle disagreement. They may take encouragement from this, as they have from crude and racist Internet behavior and scary tea party protests. Clearly those things are not enough for them.

I'm not sure how I feel about "them" having their own candidate, but the fact is they have always been a problem. They're the reason race-baiters have won elections.

At least we can address this problem of fascism - yes, fascism - in the US while Trump is holding his Angry White Man rallies. We can use this time to teach what gun fanaticism and racism are doing to our country.
