The republicans have both chambers of Congress, and look how much power they have at the state level. Americans are fucking stupid and reward racism, misogyny, incompetence, and willful mis-government. They love that shit, especially the rightwing white guys, 'cuz it makes them feel like strong he-men who don't take no crap from wimmins, brown people & those pansy libtards.
