(745 posts)29. How so? What policy has HRC put out to handle Policing in this country?
You tell me. Cause the only thing we can get from her so far is an acknowledgement of the problem.. and their acknowledgement that they (Bill) are largely to blame.
Feb 24th - Salon - SC Town Hall: Sanders calls for fighting structural racism; Clinton calls for white people to be "honest"
Clinton simply said we have to figure out how we're going to life up the good practices, reform policing, provide more support.
That's nice, but how?
March 2, 2016 The Post Crescent: How primary plays out in Wisconsin
We need to restore the trust that has been lost between law enforcement and the people they serve, Clinton said, citing the April 2014 death of Milwaukee's Dontre Hamilton by a city police officer.
That's nice, but how?
Feb 11th - Milwauikee Journal Setinel: Clinton, Sanders debate health care, police shootings
We have to restore policing that will actually protect the communities that police officers are sworn to protect, Clinton said.
That's nice, but how!?
See.. simply spouting out the problem and that "we need to do something", doesn't actually fix the problem.
Then we can point to just Jul 18, 2015 - WTVR-TV: How Bill Clinton Says he made mass incarceration issue worse
We will finally be able to say, loudly and clearly, that for repeat, violent, criminal offenders: three strikes and you're out. We are tired of putting you back in through the revolving door, Hillary Clinton said in 1994.
I signed a bill that made the problem worse, Clinton told an audience at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored Peoples annual meeting in Philadelphia. And I want to admit it.

Everyone back then knew it was a failed policy but 'for-purchase politics' won... and now we have a Prison Industrial Complex and jail more people than anyone else on Earth. Horse Shit? Ya, it's all over your face... wipe it from your eyes and you can see, otherwise, have fun rolling in it.
