(10,622 posts)Being a mixed race individual, I understood what you originally appeared to attempt to do.
You have lost your way and fallen deeply into hatred and division and this angers me as well (another thing I must try to forgive you for because I, as much as any, having lived in the poorest dregs of society, having known hunger, beatings at the hands of more than one "pure" race, beaten nearly to death by cops for being poor and vaguely "ethnic" at 16 and yet somehow escaped the fate of it making me hate others) Instead, I formed deep friendships with people of all those many ethnic heritages that I could in that poor and mixed area. I have fought my whole life for peace and unity, you have set that back as much as it did at times when I felt passing anger at hatred directed at me in my youth.
You have also lost my trust and any respect I might have had, you have prejudices within you that targets part of my muttish whole and have been working hard at causing division.
I am part Black, part Latino, part White and part Korean (equal quarters if that matters and it should not), but not ethnically Jewish. You have already shown hatred towards at least one quarter of who I am, beyond what is necessary to defend the Black part of myself which I do understand needs defense.
Now you have shown and expressed hatred for possibly the only other group that has faced more hardship and cruelty than the part of me that shares a black history with you, and yes, I lack any special privilege being not white, but face the same petty prejudices from those among my other peoples for not being "pure" in anyone's eyes.
I no longer trust if you will hate my Latino side or my Korean side, but have actually been brought to the point where I suspect you will - more than I expect not.
You are lost to hatred and division now as far as it appears to me so to me you are a lost cause, maybe someday you will realize that the only true justice that will ever be found will only be found through unity.
I do not accept your apology at this time and am placing you on ignore because quite frankly, I hold no interest in either hatred or disunity. I do not think you are ready to give up either, at least not yet.
