20. My take on it is even more sinister than all of yours

The organization that bears her name is only trying to "stir up the pot". Their total objective is to stir people up, create anxiety, to make people hate, to make people cry, to satisfy people's craving for the absurd and to create gossip.

Why?

Simple. To create "hits" on their web site. The more hits they can motoviate people into generating for them, the more advertising they can sell and the more they can charge for each ad. It's greed for the almighty dollar that they worship, pure and simple. They are in no way in the business of serving the public, for the public's enlightenment and well being. Rather, they are in business because they are capitalists who lust after wealth. Pure and simple.

The only thing I cannot figure out is why someone like Bill Mahr, who at least gives the outward appearance of being altruistic towards the welfare and benefit of our society as a whole, could be so attracted to the person of the Huffington Posts' founding (to the point of falling all over himself in public with his admiration of her)?
