20. False accusations are more likely to make the media than real ones, I suspect.

Most studies suggest that the fraction of rape accusations that are spurious is pretty damn tiny, but I suspect that that's somewhat less true if you restrict yourself to accusations that get large amounts of publicity (although I'm sure it's still a fairly small minority), and *much* less so if you restrict yourself to accusations against celebrities (I'm sure it's still a minority, but in this case I'm not sure it's still a tiny one).
