3. The rubio campaign started this rumor a month ago after cruz's dirty tricks in the primaries.

The National Enquirer took that rumor and began looking into it. Their findings (or not) came out in the recent issue. So, it was the initial rubio campaign charge that led to the current situation. The delay was developing the article.

No one has come forward to verify the claims in the article are true, but you can bet people are trying to get at least one of the women to talk on record about it. The National Enquirer has a history of being correct on these types of stories. They know how to protect themselves from lawsuits.

cruz's charge that this is a trump hit piece is absolute nonsense.
