He's clearly unhinged, but a photo of a pipe bomb that contained no actual explosives isn't exactly something that's going to "blow up a mosque".

The actual crime was making a criminal threat (exacerbated by whatever hate-crime boost they could get). 90 days on a plea deal doesn't seem out of the reasonable range.

Had there been actual explosives - it would be an entirely different conversation.
