14. It's sad that women can't be comfortable elsewhere.

This is a sad and dangerous trend. Pretty soon, any woman who is harassed will be blamed for not sitting in the segregated car. Any woman who is not in a female-only car will be seen as fair game.

If the Germans really cared about women's concerns, they would work to make the entire train a comfortable environment for women, not just a single car. They would educate men about treating women with respect, rather than tell women to limit their freedom of movement. This is like telling women that they shouldn't go out alone late at night. The fact that Japan does it should have raised red flags immediately.
