He spent 17 of 18 minutes in the first segment letting Trump waste time with a mountain of "ain't I wonderful". Tweety plays the second segment more aggressively, as if he knew that his knees were getting sore kneeling in front of the propaganda master and he didn't want to be photographed with his mouth open. That's when he got Trump to admit that he wanted women to be punished for getting an abortion. It appears that Tweety gave up after the second segment and let Trump roam over the policy landscape like a butterfly in a desert. He can't get too testy or Trump will deny him access in the future. And THAT would be a blow to Tweety's gravitas.
