Just as "stupid" is easily absorded by "evil," "racist" is absorded by the entire Republican Party because they rely upon fear and racism to keep right-wing authoritarians in the ranks. Play it even somewhat fair and the racists will go tea-party on your ass.

In this particular case, the dunce cap in the graphic should be replaced by a white hood, but they are quite interchangeable.
