In addition my daughter and her family live in West Allis, WI. They said in the debates, particularly the last debate Barrett came off poorly. They are both Democrats and hugely anti-Walker. They felt the last debate doomed Barrett. Polls showed those that decided late broke Walker's way.

That and mountains of out of state cash probably had a significant impact.
