In reply to the discussion: Democrats around the nation will remember that Obama didn't come to Wisconsin [View all]Carolina
(6,960 posts)"The leader of the Democratic Party was too terrified to make the easily-made case to Wisconsin voters that Walker is turning their state over to the plutocrats." How could he make such a case when in the past 3 years he has done little to nothing to change (remember hope & change) the plutocratic, corporatized, market driven course of the nation?
He's not FDR, HST, JFK or LBJ. He hasn't fought for the people at all. It began with his cabinet picks, extended through his failure to support a public option and continues in his ongoing make-niceness with lunatics.
I know a local Dem pol heretold me that Dems are VERY disappointed to the point of disgusted with OBH. Course they put on a good public persona but behind closed doors is another matter.
November will be tough because the truly ignorant, the willfully ignorant and the frank racists (of which there are many) will vote for Mittens. Then throw in rigged voting machines and voter suppression.
I am totally disgusted and fatalistic.
