16. It's Bad News On The State & Local Levels...

This is where much of the Koch/ALEC efforts have been on...taking control of state governments and marginalizing the federal government. The fact they feel they can throw money at any election and get the result they want could mean the rushpublican not only retaining the House and taking the Senate but also taking control of more state legislatures and governorships. Once in place we see how quick they go to work in beating down unions, discriminating against minorities and cutting or outsourcing government services. Candidates now will fear a big money bomb in their district and the unions won't be able to come to the rescue. People power is down but not out...it will revive when more people realize how they've been screwed and voted against their best interests. Sadly I don't see that day happening any time soon. Maybe this will be a wake up call as to how hard things will be this fall...
