In reply to the discussion: Florida Governor pRick Scott Can't Even Get a Cup of Coffee at a Local Starbucks [View all]Zambero
(9,954 posts)27. Jobs? OK then.
A million says Rick Scott. A few questions come to mind:
1. What are federal taxes levied on those Florida jobs, and what portion of those revenues are redirected to ACA Medicaid expansion?
2. What is the sum total of those Medicaid total dollars that Florida makes available to other states because Scott refuses to allow citizens to utilize what the state has already paid for (I gather the answers to #1 and #2 would be identical(.
3. How many Florida citizens are currently deprived of needed health care because of decisions made by Scott and his legislative allies, given that there would have been no added cost to the state had Medicaid expansion be permitted?
