There's a growing resentment among private sector unions over those working in public sector ones. The union movement has become very provincial as you didn't see steelworkers or autoworkers or plumbers out there marching...feel public sector unions get advantages they don't.

As one whose been to Wisconsin many times and have a lot of friends who were involved with the recall, you could see a resentment with all the protests and recall. The union movement did a poor job in getting people to understand how this issue related to them...
