I almost did not click on the link because it was the Daily Mail. They, however, have a link to a similar, very well written Washington Post article that gives the same story. Here is the link - if there are others like me who have little trust in the Daily Mail, a paper I first heard mentioned in "Paperback Writer". https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/one-woman-helped-the-mastermind-of-the-paris-attacks-the-other-turned-him-in/2016/04/10/66bce472-fc47-11e5-9140-e61d062438bb_story.html

Many people have suggested that we need the support of the local Muslim communities to make attacks here less likely. This article gives not just this story, but another example of a family that refused to hide another jihadi.

There was another NYT article that spoke of the dilemma that parents of radicalized youth have - http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/10/us/parents-face-limited-options-to-keep-children-from-terrorism.html?_r=0
