in lower Montana near YNP we had 8" over the past 30 hours, most of which has melt away already. It's wet, heavy, sloppy stuff. We're supposed to get some more tonight. And the wrens showed up two weeks ago and the bison are dropping their calves a month early. They used to calf in mid-late May and into June, the last three years they have been coming earlier each year.
