I really cannot see the purpose of participating in a political site and not wanting opposing views, even expressed in a rude manner. And being raised to believe the words,at the end of the day can't hurt me, I actually enjoy hearing opinions I think are bullshit. Even if they are personally disparaging.

There is at least one person responding on this thread that disagrees with me and feels that hearing opposing opinions is more than he or she wants to or can deal with. I am sorely tempted to make disparaging comments about his or her favorite candidate just to get myself on an ignore list. But since I like both of our candidates I will refrain. Plus, being new here I don't know the ramifications of being ignored. And with only 13 post I really should not be a dick yet.

Plus, in my over half-century of life I have learned that listening to people I totally disagree with often teaches me more than listening to an echo chamber. Not saying that I will agree with them, but helping me strength and my own views.
