Asking because maybe I have the wrong impression of what people of the majority are like in those areas

We live in a diverse mixed blue state, urban area where quite frankly you would not stand out for tats, that shirt , or flip flops at zero,
Although you may get hassled if the only other thing you had on was a Tshirt no pants then yes people would say crazy
It's not perfect at all but I know the issues We have zero westher, and I'd rather be in warm weather just more places like California than red south
