I'm not THAT masochistic!

We had company last night for dinner - NEVER was I so glad to be busy with other stuff when I'd ordinarily be watching the news.

After the extended and very pleasant evening, I didn't even turn on Rachel Maddow. And usually, if I'm tired and I don't feel like watching much, or going through the recording of the whole MSNBC evening, I at least catch Rachel. Not last night. We went straight to the "Star Trek" DVDs. Probably will do the same tonight. I just don't need it.
