25. I rather like bytes, now that I see it.

Bytes is a word I use more often than "bites" and represents a small amount of information, misinformation, or noise.

Political sound bites, unlike most foods, are seldom nutritious in any way. But then there's also the aggressive connotation of "biting" an opponent with a few words.

The Opus interactive audio codec does a pretty good rendition of human voices at 8 kilobytes per second. The typical data rate for an ordinary MP3 is 128 kilobytes per second.

But I do hate Reagan. Our friends and our hemophilia patients were dying of AIDS and those assholes were still telling gay jokes.
