Wilmore, host of the channels Nightly Show, directed his barbs towards respected cable news journalists, like CNNs Don Lemon who has tirelessly worked to expose the destructive morals of the hip hop generation from his place behind the anchor desk. Wilmore, who like so many of his fellow liberal comedians is constantly pandering for the support of cool people, singled out Lemon simply because his brand of respectable journalism makes so many of the race pimps who profiteer off of black America uncomfortable.
Not satisfied with denigrating Lemon, Wilmore also attacked CNNs ratings and its legendary anchor, Mr. Wolf Blitzer.
For shame, sir.
Wilmore also invoked the Black Lives Matter movement, giving that socialist uprising a seat of legitimacy at one of Washingtons most sacred events. A dinner for scholarships with the President on the dais is nowhere to bang a drum in a drum circle, Wilmore.
The comedian not very funny to be honest, and the silence from the brave journalists in the audience spoke volumes ended his cultural assault by referring the President as my n****r, again providing an opening for the hip-hop culture in its inexorable death march to supreme cultural superiority. It is evidence of the unfortunate side effects that have come to hurt our country after the election of President Obama.
Obama remained silent as Wilmore took Americas honor into a back alley and summarily executed it with his comedy guillotine.
The only remedy, and hopefully the executives at Comedy Central are paying attention, is to fire Wilmore immediately. There is no need to cancel his show, but he should be replaced as host with another comedian or satirist who understands that offending the mainstream media is off limits. He or she should realize that comedy is truly not about confronting the elite, but instead offering up safe, inoffensive observations that arent all about making people think or see things from a critical perspective.
We dont want that. At all.
:satire:

OP
His bit was somewhat tone deaf -- playing to an audience that was not in the room.

The audience certainly was in the room, they hate confronting the truth, remember Colbert.

Comics are supposed to piss off the likes of Don Lemon at this event. That's the entire point

Wilmore tanked last night. Obama was funnier than him. I kind of felt bad for him as he was tanking.
