Bernie is the populist candidate the establishment fears the most... enough to promote Trump as they have, turning him into a "BAD" populist hoping some of that "BADNESS" will be associated with populism itself and thereby tarnish Bernie. The only problem for the establishment is their gambit to ignore and tarnish Bernie has been so unsuccessful they have had to resort to draconian republicon tactics of massive voter suppression, disenfranchisement, and vote flipping to stay ahead of the Sanders Tsunami.
