My daughter was friends with a transgendered girl whose harrassment made national news a few years ago. An evangelical group goaded the grandson of one of their members into following her into the girls bathroom whenever she used it. Her use of the bathroom had never been disruptive, but, of course, his presence was, and eventually he was expelled from the school, providing fodder for a religious discrimination lawsuit. The transgendered girl eventually moved and went to a private school to avoid various forms of bullying and harrasment.
