The media's cultish obsession over every ludicrous statement he made, and the free 24/7 coverage of his clown show that shut out all the other candidates, the made for TV fantasy rating story they've always dreamed of. They forced him on us, pushed him to the top, and presented him as a genuine facsimile of a potential president. They offer him up to the viewers on a silver platter without a cringe, blush, or apology, and never uttered a word of criticism or noted his blatantly obvious unsuitability to hold the highest office in the land.

And the Trump media circus will make them all rich. That's always the bottom line.
