11. Idiot. NW Oregon has plenty of tea-baggers and conservatives.

Just because certain districts in the Portland area are young and liberal, doesn't mean there is no chance there won't be an equal number of old hidebound conservatives, libertarians, or grumpy supremacists that are equally eligible to be called up for a jury pool.
Remember, Oregon used to be a covenant state; even in the 60's, 70's, and 80's, there were communities that were full of gawd-fearin' Birchers and white supremacists. They aren't all dead yet, and many of them had kids that grew up just as intellectually lazy and hateful as they are.
