The Republicans have circled back on themselves. They used to be against participant ribbons or trophies handed out to all the kids at the jamboree: "Hey, my kid won the championship, but since everyone else got a trophy, he doesn't feel as superior to the other kids as he should." Now, their presidential candidate is a total racist knob, but hey, "He's trying!" Whaddya want, a cookie?
